The winter blues have officially settled into my bones. Everything is blue blue blue gray gray gray. The only things I think about eating are warm, calorie-rich baked goods, and I wake up every morning longing for the enveloping warmth of the shower. And I get annoyed with showering most of the time.
It's only the middle of January. How will I last until May?

By taking a trip to Las Vegas with Scott and I? If we split the gas it will only be $40/couple from SLC. We'll drive. Good. It's a date.
P.S. This is how I combat winter blues.
Dude...totally feeling you. And the fact that I have to get up when its still dark is not helping in any way, shape, or form.
Carrie. Seriously? Let's go. The winter blues = we're all gonna go broke.
I thought of something dangerous today. Jacob and I could take out his subsidized student loans and just live off that this summer. Just spend our days road-tripping.
Living in MN and having no where to put the 59 inches we already have. With our temp's not reaching above 30 deg for the next two months and knowing we haven't gotten to the snowiest months yet and it may not all melt until May. Are you feeling better about your snow yet? Just venting sorry! Here if you don't have a sense of humor about winter it's going to be the longest 5 months of your life.
Re Mary: You just described Rexburg, Idaho.
My philosophy in life is that you gotta focus on the light at the end of the tunnel, but sometimes you just gotta acknowledge the frozen, dark walls of the tunnel. A little vent of my own, I guess.
I'm happiest when I'm outdoors and barefoot.
this photo is haunting. I hate it.
