A picture's worth...

Last week, we went on an impromptu road trip. It cost us about $800 and 3 days more than we had planned, but it was a good trip, nonetheless. The story of the van's brave last struggle is a good one, so it deserves its own separate post. So for now, here's what we did last week:

*Addendum: We got a call from the towing company the other day saying they accidentally over-charged us and would be sending us a refund of almost $200. Woo hoo!

Oh my gosh! Why didn't you call me and tell me about this?

But I love you a lot and am so glad you could come! Even if it resulted in the death of the van...

Because for a lot of it, we didn't have cell phone service! AND, we couldn't figure out what you could have done to help without driving like 6 hours out of your way.

Also, Beckah, I think one of your eyes is becoming...looser. Like, in pictures, when you're making a crazy face, one of your eyes is occasionally way crazier than the other. It's really awesome.

jealous* No spontaneous road trip would be complete without a major car malfunction. Once I was on a road trip in the middle of winter and the heater broke in Missouri- which I consider to be a MAJOR malfunction in the winter time.

Good job being an awesome couple. :) I'm officially inspired.

Love the video. Excellent, artistic montage of a fun trip with your hubby and seeing the ocean and your sister. Real bummer about the car, but glad you got home safe. Ah, the memories you're making... and reminding me of my own. What an adventure!
