The internet is a hypochondriac's worst nightmare.


(Along with House, MD. Although I love it dearly.)


The point is, I'm pretty sure I have Restless Legs Syndrome.

Although according to WebMD and my own hypochondria, in the last year, I've also had kidney failure, diabetes, fibromyalgia, appendicitis, acute angle-closure glaucoma, and several brain tumors.

Restless Legs Syndrome is a real thing, though. I heard about it because a friend and roommate a few years ago had it. So it was the conclusion I came to when I was too restless to sleep.

But whether it's real or imagined, I can't sleep lately unless I do a good 20 minutes of yoga.

Hmph. I'm hoping I can talk myself out of this one.

The person to ask is Jacob ... he should be able to tell you. I've had the same problem, on and off. Ray hasn't said anything about me kicking or jerking my legs for a while, so I'm hoping we are in an off stage. Now that I'm thinking about it, since we got our tempurpedic (sp?) mattress topper, I think that's when I've stopped. If this is a genetic thing, I'm sorry!

It IS supposed to be genetic! But since neither you nor Dad ever said anything about it, I thought it was all in my head! (In a matter of speaking...) Boo. Oh well. Yoga has REALLY helped a lot, and since it's healthy in a lot of other ways, it's a pretty good fix all around. It's not quite as good when you're sick and don't have the energy for yoga, so I've been doing some relaxation breathing as well. And when worse comes to worse, a small sleeping pill has helped.
